House of Hope, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team! The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position involves ensuring the provision of a safe and therapeutic environment for clients. Shift currently available (3pm-11pm)

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent required.
·         One year of BHT experience preferred.
·         Experience working with the substance abuse population preferred.
·         Excellent verbal and written skills.
·         Computer literate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the behavior and activities of clients by patrolling the perimeter and dorms, reporting any concerns to clinical staff regarding the health, safety, or wellbeing of clients.
  • Provide clients with training or assistance with basic daily living skills and personal hygiene services as needed.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and support clients.
  • Performs other BHT responsibilities as assigned.
