Position Type: Full-time

Location: Montana, Utah, Washington, and/or Wyoming, USA

Work Environment: Remote/Hybrid

Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and assign the project scope, manage the budget, schedule, status, and technical interface issues.
  • Provide leadership for the electrical engineering team and be a resource within the multi-disciplinary teams. 
  • Oversee engineering calculation checking, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
  • Organize and lead weekly meetings with clients to update, discuss, and review project needs. 
  • Interface with Project Managers and clients per schedule and team demands.
  • Assist with project control documentation as required, including Project design and material/equipment procurement.
  • Review or prepare specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines for E&I drawing package completion.
  • Utilize knowledge of power engineering, analyzing software, and both electrical and instrumentation systems. 

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 10+ years of experience. 
  • P.E. or P.E. application in process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated,  organized, and solution advocate.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Experience Preferred:

  • Previous experience with power transmission & distribution system evaluation/selection
  • Previous experience in oil & gas industry
  • Previous experience with ETAP, Easy Power, or SKM software.
