JOB SUMMARY:
A maintenance tech is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment to perform a variety of highly diverse duties such as trouble shooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes that support the achievement of Avancez business goals and objectives.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic trouble shooting and repairs, including fabrication, preventative, and predictive maintenance
Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of robotic manufacturing equipment
Complete electronic work order forms for completed tasks in detail
Perform root cause analysis
Work with minimal supervision to properly complete jobs in timely fashion
Continuous improvement projects
Work with the engineering team on plant improvements
Expectations
Maintaining the mechanical and electrical components on an automotive component assembly line
Troubleshoot and debug new equipment for future business needs
Perform preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot automated electrical systems
Safety conscious

Self-motivated
Ability to work overtime as well as cover other shifts and weekends as needed
Qualifications and Experience
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude
Robotics experience desired, but not required
Low voltage electrical systems installation and troubleshooting
Mechanical and pneumatic systems repair experience
Knowledge of tool crib equipment (i.e., lathes, grinders, various welding & fabricating equipment, Bridgeport, drill press, etc.)
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are a must
Work with other department for continuous improvements, troubleshooting processes, and cross functioning problem solving groups
