Job Title: Inventory Controller

Job Summary
The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support efficient operations and meet customer demand. This role involves monitoring stock movement, conducting audits, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring inventory procedures are followed to minimize losses and optimize stock availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances and shortages
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams on inventory requirements
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of inventory items
- Prepare inventory reports, forecasts, and analysis for management
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend actions
- Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or inventory management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e-Emphasy)
- Knowledge of inventory best practices
Working Conditions
- Office, field, and warehouse environment
- May require occasional overtime or weekend work
- Ability to lift and move inventory when required
