Job Summary:
The Charge Nurse will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and manage daily operations within the unit. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN or RN license in NE
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in LTC or SNF setting
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • BLS/ACLS certification (as required by unit or specialty).
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for nurses and healthcare staff.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Assist in staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Handle patient concerns and provide conflict resolution when needed.
  • Promote a positive and safe work environment.
