- Must pass a criminal history background check and provide proof of US citizenship.
- Assist the Business Administrator with calendar management, purchases, correspondence, document collection, and record maintenance.
- Prepares and maintains confidential files for the Business Administrator during specific periods, including employee contract negotiations, audits, legal matters, and insurance claims.
- Support the Business Administrator with all Board of Education duties, including, but not limited to, monthly agendas, minutes, financial disclosures, board member registration, training, and conference planning.
- Coordinate and maintain annual vendor contracts and required documentation.
- Works alongside the Assistant Business Administrator to oversee food service program functions, including annual lunch applications, monthly reimbursement verification, and various other aspects of completing and executing the following programs: Summer Feeding, National School Lunch, Community Eligibility (CEP), and Summer EBT.
- Oversee communication and documentation collection in response to OPRA requests.
- Post Student Activity, Scholarship, and Food Services receipts to the general ledger through Systems3000.
- Manage district contracts for copiers, postage machines, laminators, and other office equipment, and coordinate support throughout the district.
- Regularly update the Business Office website with legal notices, information, resources, and related content.
- Act as the liaison for insurance policies as it relates to district coverage, facilities use, outside vendors, and all required documentation. Assist with annual insurance renewals.
- Coordinate non-student transportation vehicle maintenance, inspection, and registration.
- Reviews employee travel reimbursement requests, reconciling supporting documentation, and providing approval for payment.
- Responsible for the organization of the Business Office Google Drive folders.
- Performs other related duties as required by the position and/or assigned by the School Business Administrator.
- Salary ranges $50,000-$60,000, based on experience
- Health Benefit is provided up to Family coverage, or an opt-out payment is available if waiving coverage
- Enrollment in the State NJ (PERS) Retirement System
- Vacation, sick, and personal days are provided.
