Senior Expert – System Verification Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced System Verification Engineer (Senior Expert) to lead and execute verification activities for complex automotive electrical and electronic systems.

In this role, you will work independently as a recognized expert, ensuring the integration, verification, and validation of onboard and offboard systems according to defined system interfaces and expected behaviors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert, working independently and taking full accountability for deliverables
  • Define and validate test environments for system verification
  • Integrate, verify, and validate:
    • Onboard vehicle systems
    • Offboard systems and connected services
  • Execute verification activities at different levels:
    • MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle level
  • Analyze test results and derive conclusions for system improvements
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues discovered during testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders:
    • Development
    • Manufacturing
    • Aftermarket
  • Support software deployment processes, including remote and OTA updates
  • Contribute to and support vehicle builds at the Tuve production site when required
  • Execute tasks based on defined test scopes, plans, and directives while applying expert judgment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with large-scale system integration and validation frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Electronics
    • Automotive Engineering or related field
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in system verification or automotive E/E development
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Vector CANoe / CANalyzer
    • CAPL and/or Python scripting
  • Deep understanding of vehicle communication protocols:
    • CAN, LIN, Ethernet
    • Diagnostic protocols (UDS)
  • Proven experience in:
    • Automotive embedded system verification
    • MIL / SIL / HIL / Vehicle-level testing
  • Experience with:
    • Remote Software Download / OTA functions and services
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver under defined processes
