Job Description

SUMMARY: Serves as the primary party responsible for obtaining asset and transactional information on Directed or Delegated Trust that have held away assets and ensuring that data is integrated in to our trust accounting system. The incumbent will also provide day-to-day support to other staff within trust operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for onboarding new relationships to the MorningStar ByAllAccounts platform (BAA) or other data aggregation services
  • Manage provider setup as specified and reach out to the administrative staff as needed for client authorization.
  • Directly works with BAA and service partners to facilitate problem resolution and improve efficiencies with current processes.
  • Monitors, extract and reviews daily downloads and reconciliation data for Directed or Delegated Accounts
  • Enter extracted data into specified format for load into the Trust Accounting System. 
  • Reconcile shadow assets. 
  • Establishes and maintains strong and cooperative relationships with BAA client and Cheetah service teams to foster a cooperative environment for the resolution of problems and/or errors.
  • Provides support for internal groups working with firms/clients on Data Aggregation. Support includes, but is not limited to, research and resolution on account level issues involving data aggregation providers. This could include data feed, reconciliation, pricing issues, etc.
  • Provide daily support to the middle office, security and cash specialists within the trust operations department. 
  • Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.  Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma with Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in the financial services industry or related
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products with advanced Excel skills required
  • Previous experience with MorningStar BAA or other data integration software preferred 
  • Attention to detail, strong information-gathering and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and research as needed.
