Job Description

This new Outdoor Adventure property is an exciting opportunity to grow your career with us. It is the newest outdoor attraction spanning 850 acres near the majestic Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our park offers guests an unparalleled outdoor experience with over 7 miles of exhilarating mountain biking trails and UTV offroad tours. We are seeking a Mountain Bike Mechanic to work on electric and standard mountain bikes. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our guests have a memorable and safe adventure experience while visiting the property.



Responsibilities



· Collaborate with the management team to ensure that all customer interactions meet or exceed expectations.



· Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.



· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on both standard and E-mountain bikes to ensure they are safe and fully operational.



· Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements of components, including drivetrains, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems for E-bikes.



· Assist customers in selecting and fitting mountain bikes according to their preferences, riding style, and physical characteristics.



· Provide guidance and instruction to customers on the features and operation of mountain bikes, ensuring they are comfortable and confident before riding.



· Assist Trail Crew with Trail Construction and Maintenance



· Support the trail crew in various tasks related to trail construction and maintenance, such as clearing debris, building features, and repairing trail surfaces.



· Work collaboratively with the team to ensure trails are well-maintained and safe for users.



· Conduct regular inspections of trails using bicycles or ATVs to identify any hazards, obstructions, or maintenance needs.



· Report findings to the appropriate personnel and assist in implementing necessary repairs or improvements.



· Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks on utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) to keep them in optimal working condition.



· Conduct inspections and address any issues to ensure UTVs are ready for use in trail operations.



· Flexibly adapt to additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the facility.
