Job Description
WHAT WE’RE DOING
At Lockheed Martin, we engineer innovative solutions to deliver resilient systems, products, and services across evolving cyber threats. As risks to our hardware, software, and supply chains continue to rise, our customers require advanced solutions to mitigate growing vulnerabilities and ensure our systems can operate in cyber contested environments. Strong resiliency-focused engineering is essential to protecting Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) platform/weapon systems from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
THE WORK
Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a Systems Engineer responsible for advancing the development of digital twin architectures for the U.S Navy's strategic navigation submarine programs. In this role you will collaborate with cross functional teams to create a scalable virtual replica that supports Agile development, early/advanced integration and testing, design validation, predictive maintenance, troubleshooting using lab and field data, performance optimization, and lifecycle management. You will define the overall digital twin architecture, including data ingestion pipelines, simulation models and engines, analytics layers, and visualization frameworks and then validate the functionality against lab and field data. You will produce detailed design documents and be expected to conduct training sessions and workshops for internal and external stakeholders.
WHY JOIN US
Your Health, Your Wealth, Your Life
Joining Lockheed Martin means becoming part of a team that's making a significant impact in the field of engineering. When you choose to work with us, you'll enjoy:
