LSSI is hiring an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), to be responsible for providing direct nursing services to clients and function as a key member of a team of social workers, nurses, support staff, and medical provider who are responsible for safe and quality client care in substance abuse programs.
This role is designed to provide coverage as staffing needs arise within our 24/7 facility, primarily during the 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift window.
Availability on Mondays is essential, as this is a key coverage day. We are ideally looking for someone who can work a 6–8 hour shift on Mondays, with the option to work a full 12-hour shift if available.
This position is best suited for nurses who are flexible and able to step in on short notice when needed, as well as provide coverage for holidays, leaves of absence, and vacations (with advance scheduling when applicable).

- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care in the facilities.

- High School Diploma
- Valid IL LPN license.
- BLS/AED CRP trained.
- At least 5 years’ experience in long-term care nursing.
- At least 5 years’ experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to provide leadership and training to direct care personnel.
- Participate in ongoing learning opportunities to keep skills current.
- Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory insurance.
