ECS is seeking Cloud Engineers to work in Fairfax, VA and various government locations supporting the development and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Solutions for a DoD customer.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Certified Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team in supporting a large DoD program that operates and maintains multiple AWS GovCloud, Azure, and classified cloud environments, supporting AI/ML research, development, integration, and operational support.
This position will support client teams developing or enriching applications in the cloud, as well as providing core cloud services maintenance and support in both classified and unclassified environments, with the goal of providing a stable, secure, flexible, efficient, and cost effective CSO.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with customers and partners to architect, deploy, document, accredit, and support innovative cloud solutions as they are deployed to one or more cloud environments.
- Monitor and manage security compliance, remediations and patch management for both classified and unclassified environments. Evaluate customer issues and make educated decisions on technologies, tools and the overall delivery strategy.
- Thrive in a hybrid environment (split between SCIF/on-site and remote), able to be on-site at SCIF up to 4 days a week.
- Successfully communicate to customers, contract program managers, industry partners, ECS senior management, and Government representatives.
- Provide leadership and creativity in new business capture and proposal development.
- Track industry trends and leverage them to drive innovation and solution excellence across various functional domains.
- Collaborate with operations, technical and business development managers, and ECS Centers of Excellence on key components of large solutions.
