Your Role
The Data Center team provides hands-on and remote support of the hardware located in our data centers and office locations. The Data Center Engineer, Senior will report to the Director, Technical Operations. In this role you will ensure that our on-premise data centers, office data rooms and office network rooms are running and available in order to meet company goals and needs.

Responsibilities
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Manage physical installation and deinstallation of hardware in all data centers and data rooms, including cabling
- Maintain and monitor capacity for rack space and power in all data centers and data rooms
- Manage and administer infrastructure monitoring tools (temperature sensors, PDUs, etc.)
- Be responsible for shipping, receiving and asset management of all data center and data room hardware
- Manage and audit data center and data room security access
- Provide support for Problem/Change/Incident management (including 24x7 on-call support)
- Provide evidence of compliance and/or remediation for audit controls
- Travel to company locations as needed for onsite support
Qualifications
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with managing data centers and/or co-locations or environment in co-locations being a data center engineer
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure hardware (networking, servers, storage), infrastructure space (data centers, data rooms) and environmental (power, cooling)
- Proficient in PC skills
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with cabling best practices
- Ability to instruct/delegate work to vendors or remote hands
- Ability to perform basic hardware troubleshooting (power supply, connectivity issues)
- Strong communication skills and an understanding of infrastructure related terminology
Hybrid
This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.
Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
