Under the guidance and supervision of the nurse, the supervisor shares the responsibility for total patient needs. As a member of the nursing team, she/he performs a variety of technical and skilled patient care duties, many of which were acquired through nursing education and supervised on-the-job training and experiences. The Registered Nurse shares the responsibility of providing a safe and comfortable environment conducive to healing while delivering quality care. Assist a physician or a nurse practitioner as needed to provide all care.

 

Education: 

Associate degree or higher

 

License, Certification, Etc:

•  Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia (or appropriate compact state license)


•  Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification (within 3 months of hire)


•  BLS
