The Scheduler job responsibilities include ensuring safe, compliant resident care by managing nursing staff schedules and tracking attendance, creating monthly rosters, managing time-off requests, filling call-outs, reducing agency usage, and ensuring compliance with staffing ratios. 

Requirements

Scheduler Qualifications:

  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle challenging situations
  • Attentive to details
  • Previous experience in caregiving/CNA
  • Previous experience working with Staff scheduling preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Previous experience dealing with employee relations
