Position:  Summer Camp School Age Childcare Instructor

Location: Westlake Elementary School

Date Available:  5/26/2026

Additional Information:
Hours: 5-8 hours per day; between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm
Camp runs from May through August 2026

Rate: $14.00 per hour

General Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct children ages 5-14 in school age care summer program.
Ability to perform physical labor at times, including lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Coursework or degree in education, recreation, human services, or related field; non-related coursework or degrees or commensurate professional experience are accepted with one year of full-time work experience with school-age children in a group setting.
• Experience in working with children.
• Positive communication, interaction, and work experience with diverse people.
• Experience with children with special needs.
