Teacher Pay Plan

Starting Salary: $54,950.00


QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for elementary education
• Must obtain GT Certification (30 hours)
• Preferred additional subject area certifications: 4-8 Mathematics/Science
• Ideal candidate will have experience with STEM/project based learning

Special Knowledge/Skills

• Experience facilitating "hands-on" experiments and projects that allow students to learn by doing and exploring
• Excellent organization skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks and activities
• Excellent teamwork skills and an ability to collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and students
• Excellent work ethic, positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to perform tasks assigned
• Passion for STEM education and a commitment to fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in young learners.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area(s)
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check prior to starting employment. Non-refundable fee paid by applicant

Experience

• At least three years of classroom teaching preferred
