Summary:
- Nurse Supervisors organize, direct, and
supervise nursing personnel to provide for the general care and well-being of
community members in Skilled Nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises approximately 30 nursing
staff on shift. - Receive shift report and review 24 hour report
- Check unit assignments and make appropriate
changes for staffing as needed due to absence - Review labs, x-ray reports and distribute to
units - Completes skilled assessments, monitors wounds,
and updates the wound report. - Pharmacy deliveries of emergency drugs or meds
as needed - Complete staff evaluations, Counsel staff as
needed - Oversee end-of-month medication “change-over”’
- Run PCC reports to ensure compliancy with
medication administration/ treatments - Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be a current, unrestricted, Registered
Nurse in the State of Ohio. Long Term Care/ Skilled Nursing Experience.
