JOB DUTIES:

• Able read work orders
• Use sand blaster to blast parts
• Assure proper phosphate coating of trailers and parts
• Assure proper drying of parts that get phosphatized before going to Primer Booth
• Use Control Panel for Primer Booth
• Clean and maintain Primer Booth spray equipment and keep in proper working order
• Clean and maintain wash bay and drying areas.
• Assure proper taping has been performed on trailer or parts
• Use of air and airless bulk spray guns and hand pot spray gun to apply paints to a required thickness
• Move trailers and parts on dollies in and out of paint booth
• Clean and maintain spray booth area inside and out
• Educated on Tuff Coat procedures, ability to produce trailers and parts with proper millage
• Follow proper procedures on Pin Strip using current color chart
• Use proper repair techniques to make non-noticeable repairs if needed on Trailers or parts,
• Any other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work flexible hours
• Follow safety policies
• Be able to read and write English
• Ability to perform walking, standing, bending, pushing/pulling for 8+ hours a day
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in heat
• Ability to work in an environment with chemical fumes and noise
• Manual dexterity
• Detail oriented
• Have good quality habits
• Have good attendance habits
• Ability to follow instructions accurately

This position is 1st shift Monday-Thursday, hours are 6am - 4:30pm (overtime as required)
