West Hartford Public Schools seeks a candidate with a proactive and positive attitude to fill a position for a full-time Special Education Paraprofessional at Charter Oak International Academy. Candidates must be patient, respectful, and flexible with effective interpersonal skills. This is a 10-month position with full benefits working in the special needs program to support students with behavioral, social and emotional concerns. This position will assist a child in a wheelchair. 

Paraprofessionals are expected to exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and attentiveness of job responsibilities at all times.

Requirement: High school education or GED.
Salary: per paraprofessional contract.
