What You’ll Do;
As an E-Commerce Merchandiser at Golf Town, you will play a critical role in optimizing our online store's product presentation and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Leveraging your merchandising experience, you will enhance our e-commerce operations, making a significant impact on our digital retail success.
Description of Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize Sales Force Commerce Cloud merchandising to manage and merchandise products on our e-commerce platform effectively.
- Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with marketing to build and execute marketing campaigns, curating collections, products and digital assets to engage customers and drive sales.
- Collaborate with the design team to maintain brand consistency and aesthetics.
- Regularly analyze e-commerce performance metrics, including conversion rates, bounce rates, and cart abandonment rates.
- Familiarity with product onboarding and site analytics tools (e.g., Product Information Management Tools and Google Analytics) and with content management tools
- Use data insights to optimize product placements and increase conversions.
- Liaise with the catalogue content team to ensure accurate and up-to-date information, facilitating a rich search experience.
- Optimize search by maintaining and enhancing site navigation paths, facets and keyword search results.
- Ensure seasonal buying themes are represented in product groupings and site displays.
- Review catalogue status and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the Online Store creatively reflects Golf Town's full product assortment.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and optimal user experience.
- Promote our Golf Town’s Philosophy in all aspects of the business.
- Performs other related tasks, duties or assignments as required.
What You’ll Bring;
- A love of golf, fashion and a healthy, active lifestyle
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in business or marketing
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in similar Ecommerce, UX or Marketing Role
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Comfortable with HTML and Photoshop
- Strong analytical ability coupled with creative problem-solving skills
- Creative and passionate about sports, lives the sporting life
- Ability to quickly learn and work with technology
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload in order to achieve results in a constantly changing environment
- High energy level with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency. Passionate with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks
