Job Description

Reports to: Quality Control Manager

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Cooperates with: All Departments

Primary Responsibility: This position is responsible for product quality and customer satisfaction of the complete MIRATECH product line, primarily with the Tulsa Operations group.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the implementation of quality processes for MIRATECH-manufactured products.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of our Quality compliance program.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of internal products, processes, and systems to monitor quality compliance.
  • Support operational efficiency and continuous improvement activities
  • Assist with inspections and audits of vendors and suppliers to verify adherence to MIRATECH's quality standards.
  • Perform risk assessments for compliance with regulatory standards, and MIRATECH QMS.
  • Review and organize quality assurance documentation, including test reports, specifications, and compliance records.
  • Help verify that products meet regulatory and company standards prior to delivery.
  • Perform investigations of issues and incidents to determine corrective actions.
  • Work with production and quality teams to identify potential risks that lead to quality issues and assist in recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and audit activities.
  • Support updates to internal quality standards and procedures.
  • Initiate and process internal Corrective Actions and Supplier Corrective Actions.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis
  • Create (P/D) FMEA and PPAPs as required
  • Assist with training team members on quality control procedures and documentation practices.
  • Report quality issues and non-conformities and help track resolution efforts.
  • Help ensure testing and measuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

 

How to Qualify:

  • High school diploma
  • Two-year Technical degree, preferred but not required
  • 5 years of experience in quality control
  • Extensive experience with steel fabrication, welding, and assembly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and across all departments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
