We’re looking for an energetic and service‑driven Assistant General Manager to help lead our hotel and support our team in delivering the Hamptonality our guests love.


Position Overview


The Assistant General Manager plays a key leadership role in daily hotel operations. This position supports the General Manager in overseeing all departments, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining brand standards, and driving overall hotel performance. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organized, and passionate about hospitality.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, and maintenance
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, policies, and procedures
  • Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
  • Monitor guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Assist with financial responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
  • Step in to lead the property in the General Manager’s absence


Qualifications


  • Previous hotel supervisory or management experience required (Hampton/Hilton experience a plus)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, brand standards, and guest service best practices
  • Experience with Hilton systems (OnQ, GRO, etc.) preferred
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
