Description
Chase Memorial is seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist's (OT) to join our team on a part-time and per diem basis. The OT will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of physical, developmental, or cognitive conditions, helping them improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their overall quality of life.
Job Summary:
Part-time- 20 hours per week
Per Diem positions available
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, coordination, and cognitive functioning
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment techniques and home exercise programs
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient needs
Experience in a Long-Term Care or Skilled nursing preferred but not required
