Position Overview


 As a Quality Engineer at Syensqo, you will play a key role in ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and support our commitment to scientific excellence and customer satisfaction.


 


Key Responsibilities


 



  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive action initiatives for product and process non-conformities.

  • Lead investigations and processing of non-conforming materials, ensuring appropriate disposition and documentation.

  • Take immediate action to address quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and preventing issues from lingering or escalating.

  • Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.

  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to support new product introductions and process changes.

  • Provide training and guidance on quality standards, tools, and best practices.

  • Support customer complaint investigations and ensure timely resolution.

  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports.


 


Qualifications


 



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in the chemicals, materials, or manufacturing industry.

  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory standards.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Fishbone).

  • Proficiency in data analysis and quality improvement methodologies.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.

  • [Optional: Certification such as CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus.]

You will get:



  • Competitive salary (Assess the possibility to add salary range in the job ad) and benefits package. The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $80,000.00 to $101,000.00 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
