Job Description

Job Title: Pepsi Lipton Supply Chain Export Champion

Location: Cork, Ireland

JOB PURPOSE

Pepsi Lipton is a Joint Venture formed between Unilever and PepsiCo to capitalize on the growth of the ready-to-drink TEA segment. It is a global business worth ca. 3 billion USD today, growing volume at ca. 8-9%. Our vision is to expand our global leadership in RTD tea and enter new benefit areas with both current and new brands.

The Pepsi Lipton JV operates globally with three well-established brands Lipton, Brisk and Pure Leaf and recent acquisitions including Tazo, and T2. We have established a global/regional Technical Function (SC and R&D) based across two main hubs: Colworth UK, and Valhalla US.  Our regional Supply Chain teams directly business partner and co-locate with the Regional Leadership structure and are a critical primary point of contact for cross-functional teams for Supply Chain commercialization.

A role in the Pepsi Lipton JV gives you the opportunity to grow and learn from the best of both PepsiCo and Unilever parent companies in this focussed joint venture business, whilst remaining a full employee of your parent company (Unilever or PepsiCo).  The roles are broad in scope and provide opportunity to have impact within an end-to-end business unit with its own board of directors (50:50 Unilever: PepsiCo), whilst remaining in constant contact and using the talent and capabilities from both parent companies.

As an Export Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of our products across borders. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team that connects our operations to the world—ensuring that every shipment reflects our commitment to quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end export operations from Cork to AMS to global markets.

  • Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and internal policies.

  • Partner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to deliver on-time, in-full.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, production, and customer service teams to align export schedules.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for all export activities.

  • Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement in export processes and logistics performance.

Deliverables:

  • On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) Export Shipments
Consistent delivery of export orders within agreed timelines and specifications.

  • Project Implementation Plans & Results
Documented plans and successful execution of independent export projects (e.g., new market setup, digital tracking tools).

  • Compliance Documentation
Complete and accurate export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.).

  • Performance Dashboards & KPIs
Regular reporting on key metrics such as OTIF, lead times, cost per shipment, and customs clearance success rate.

  • Process Maps & SOPs
Updated standard operating procedures and process documentation for export workflows.

  • Issue Logs & Resolution Records
Timely resolution of export-related issues with root cause analysis and preventive actions logged.

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.

What can I do?

If you become aware of potential recruitment fraud, spot fake Unilever recruitment adverts or fake LinkedIn profiles, report them via Una Live Chat.

Unilever does not accept responsibility or liability for any candidates who are financially impacted by recruitment fraud. Your vigilance is key!
