We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Controls and Automation team to contribute to the creation of cutting-edge components used in life saving surgical procedures. Come join us as a Controls Technician on our growing night shift team! The position is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance across our ten campus facility (soon to be eleven!) including but not limited to:
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of special machines, automation lines, electrical and pneumatic reliability
- Enhance, develop, and maintain special machine reliability, implement productivity improvements, and machine upgrades
- Troubleshoot problems utilizing continuous improvement techniques and test equipment to quickly get machines back into production
- Conducting software validations and custom machine qualifications
- Assist in PLC programming and modifications
Requirements
- Experience with PLC programming required
- High School Diploma or GED Required. Technical education or certification in automation or controls technology preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of controls and/or electrical engineering
- Laser weld experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively and independently
