·          Maintain and maximise efficiency within the warehouse through the effective team participation of the put away and picking functions, ensuring system inventory accuracy and system targets are met or exceeded

·          Assist in the success of the warehouse function by participating in general warehouse activities including stock takes, maintenance, improvements, allocation of work directed from leading hand, administration, generation of information required for monthly reordering consumables and taking appropriate action where required

·          Contribute to the provision of quality within the department by personally adhering to the company’s quality policies and system

·          Contribute to the provision of a safe working environment and minimise lost time and costs due to accident and injury by personally adhering to the Company’s occupational health, safety and environmental policies and programmes

·          Facilitates continuous improvement by recommending, and after approval, implementing systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the warehouse area and reduce stock adjustments

·          Complies and maintains accurate and saleable inventory by regular cycle counts as per cycle count plan, recommending and arranging protection of inventory within budget constraints and establishing and adhering to inspection plan as per Hastings Deering guidelines

·          Enhance Hastings Deering’s reputation as a preferred supplier by ensuring the quality, timely and safe delivery of materials and services to internal and external customers

Conduct and participate daily in RTS and PID
