Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Special Education RSP Teacher to support students with disabilities through high-quality, individualized instruction and inclusive practices.
This role is critical in ensuring students have equitable access to learning and the supports they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The RSP Teacher partners closely with general education advisors, families, and service providers to implement IEPs and create inclusive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
IEP Development & Case Management
Develop and manage compliant IEPs, including goals, accommodations, and services
Conduct assessments and facilitate IEP meetings with families and staff
Ensure compliance with IDEA, California Education Code, and SELPA requirements
Instruction & Student Support
Provide specialized academic instruction aligned to IEP goals
Implement evidence-based interventions and differentiated instruction
Support students with academic, behavioral, and executive functioning needs
Progress Monitoring & Compliance
Track and document student progress toward IEP goals
Maintain accurate service logs and documentation
Prepare progress reports and communicate regularly with families
Collaboration & Inclusion
Partner with general education staff to implement accommodations and modifications
Support inclusive classroom practices and co-teaching models
Collaborate with related ser
