Job Description

Conduct Quality assurance of production processes and suppliers through identification, evaluation, and periodization of quality deviations, root cause analysis, initiating measures and ensure sustainable solutions of Q-problems of components, modules, products, and processes (e.g. 8D, Escalation, claim and complaint management)
•    Design and conduct Quality Check of Productions Processes, e.g. Incoming Goods Inspection, Functional test of products, modules and components, Endurance-/Reliability tests, Process Capability Control (SPC), Regular measurements of products, modules, and components (destructive and non-destructive
•    Coordinate/participate in Change Management
•    Coordinate special releases for products, modules, and components in coordination with procurement, production, operations and research and development.
•    Contribute to Quality Assurance, Supplier Control and Supplier Selection in Product Development Processes and Local Sourcing in coordination with procurement.
•    Conduct Advance Quality Planning in Product Development Processes (e.g. QFS, FMEA)
•    Conduct Quality Check in Product Development Processes
•    Contribute Q-expertise to supplier development to ensure and improve capability of suppliers regarding Miele Quality Standards and Goals
•    Ensure proper certification and calibration of measurement devices (e.g. test bench, light curtains, 3D measurement system) 
•    Provide Quality and process expertise to adhesive bonding specialist- deputy 
•    Participate in cross-functional teams (e.g. Root cause investigations, safety assessments, etc.)
•    Support similar functions in contract manufacturing as needed
