Join the Bettendorf Community School District as a Floater Custodian.  This position will float between buildings.

Do you take pride in creating clean, safe spaces for students and staff? Bettendorf CSD is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Custodian to join our Operations team!

Hours: 8 hours/day 
Pay: $22.36/hour
Start Date: ASAP

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Pool certification in buildings where pools are located
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
   

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of custodial supplies and cleaning methods and techniques
• Ability to follow all health and safety regulations
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Effective written and verbal communication to respond to staff, students, and guests
• Able to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment
• Ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision
• Friendly, courteous, patient, and adaptable demeanor
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Flexibility to meet the daily needs of the school building

Preferred Qualifications:

• Successful custodial experience in a school setting
