Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of locking systems and exit device systems, including Yale, Medeco, Von Duprin, Schlage, Russwin, Peak and similar door hardware
  • Cut keys on key cutting machine from manufacturers code. Ability to install or remove lock cylinders from mortise, cylindrical and padlocks for repairs or modification
  • Installing cabinet locks as well as retrofitting various door hardware for themed installations
  • Experience with pinning Medeco, Schlage and Peak key cores
  • Experience with maintaining large-scale master-key systems
  • Diagnose issues, recommend and perform repairs to ensure locking systems meet operational, ADA, fire safety and building code standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members, conduct audit surveys and provide guidance or training as needed
