Job Description

The Sous Chef plays a critical leadership role in the daily operations of Fatboiz Premium Gourmet’s scratch kitchen. This position supports the Executive Chef and management team by overseeing kitchen staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets Fatboiz

Description of the role:

Fatboiz is looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team in McDonough, GA. As a Sous Chef in our high-volume gourmet kitchen, you will play a key role in assisting the Head Chef with all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in creating and executing menu items
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
  • Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Monitor inventory and control food costs
  • Help develop new recipes and menu items

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume gourmet kitchen
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
