Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive foodservice program that meets the nutritional needs of patients, residents, and staff
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate assessments of patient nutrition needs and develop individualized plans for optimal care
• Oversee food preparation, storage, and distribution, ensuring adherence to infection control and safety standards
• Manage inventory, budget, and personnel to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local food sources
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of foodservice operations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient satisfaction, nutrition care, and overall performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare foodservice setting (or related field)
• Registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire)
