The BIM Manager leads and oversees BIM project delivery, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and fully coordinated models that meet company and industry standards. This role combines advanced technical expertise with team leadership, managing BIM staff, supporting project execution, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver constructable solutions across complex electrical construction projects.

DESCRIPTION: 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop BIM team members, including performance management and career development

  • Oversee BIM modeling, coordination, and clash detection using Revit, Navisworks, and ACC

  • Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans, company standards, and NEC requirements

  • Manage project schedules, staffing, and BIM deliverables across multiple projects

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field teams, and trade partners to ensure constructability and coordination

  • Conduct model reviews, quality control checks, and job site visits to validate accuracy and resolve issues

  • Support prefabrication and field layout through accurate, constructable modeling

  • Contribute to business development efforts, including BIM scope for proposals

  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of BIM technologies (e.g., 3D scanning, reality capture)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 7+ years of BIM/Revit experience or 10+ years in electrical construction

  • Experience in healthcare, commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects preferred

  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)

  • Strong knowledge of BIM processes, clash detection, and construction documentation

  • Familiarity with NEC standards and electrical systems modeling

  • Experience with 3D scanning, digital layout tools, or reality capture is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam
