    Position  Title:    LUNCHROOM  AND NOON SUPERVISOR
    Reports  to:         Building Principal
     
    Summary.
    To supervise lunchroom and outdoor noon i recess activities and assist students to be self-directed learners, collaborative workers, complex thinkers, quality producers and community contributors.
     
    Qualifications. 
    1) High  School diploma  or equivalent
     
     
    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.

    • Possess effective oral and written communication skills
    • Able to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions
    • Able to handle and maintain the confidentiality of employee, student, school board, collective bargaining, and other sensitive district information
    • Able to foster a cooperative work environment
    • Able to work with students and adults in a positive manner
    • Physically and emotionally able to perform job responsibilities
    • Able to attend work regularly and punctually and complete duties in a timely manner
    • Of good moral character and possessing temperate, ethical, and industrious habits
    • Knowledge of basic supervisory skills
    • Able to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
    • Skilled in problem solving and resolving issues
    • Able to communicate effectively with students and staff verbally

     
    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Adhere to the Board of Education policies and procedures.
    • Implement the District' s philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives.
    • Prompt arrival and full effort throughout the duration of every shift
    • Report suspected child abuse/neglect cases as required by statute and district policy.
    • Work cooperatively with other school personnel
    • Assists in supervising students' lunch room and recess activities.
    • Assists in lunchroom set-up and the preparation of the cafeteria for serving.
    • Maintain a clean, neat appearance, appropriate to position.
    • Adhere to guidelines of confidentiality as outlined in federal and state Laws and School Board Policies and Procedures.
    • Maintain a record of appropriate attendance and punctuality.
    • Serve as optimal role model for students, colleagues, and the general public.
    • Comply with all district and school policies and regulations
    • Represent the district well in interactions with all stakeholders.

    Participate in building and/or district initiatives as reasonable.

    regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Other physical demands of the positions include: regular bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting/turning/balancing, reaching above shoulder/outward, and walking around the playground to supervise.
