Job Description

We have a Activities and Event Coordinator  position at our Management Support property with [320] apartment units.

Compensation: Rent credit for 20 hrs/wk. Work schedule will vary. The schedule is flexible in order to meet mutual needs. Please review our MS website prior to application: https://www.rentanapt.com/ 

 

This position is not eligible for additional benefits. The Activities and Event Coordinator cannot use on-site facilities for private remuneration for cash or trade. Criminal background check and drug screening are required for all prospective employees.

 

Job responsibilities & skills include:

  • Coordinate and execute monthly resident events tailored to the property and resident demographic
  • Plan, organize, and host social, themed, and recreational events to drive resident engagement
  • Schedule and supervise evening and weekend activities, including light recreational offerings (fitness, games, sports, etc.)
  • Create a welcoming, engaging environment and actively interact with residents during events
  • Track event participation and maintain required reporting
  • Understand and follow all company policies pertaining to the position
  • Work under the direction of the Apartment Manager

 

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Enjoy working with people and have an outgoing, engaging personality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to plan and execute events
  • Event planning, hospitality, customer service, or related experience preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to manage an event budget, track expenses, and submit receipts in accordance with company guidelines
  • Completion of company forms and reporting requirements
