The paraprofessional will assist the kindergarten classroom teacher in the implementation of the instructional program and shall perform all the tasks, responsibilities, and duties as assigned by the teacher.

The duties commonly associated with the position include but are not limited to:

Working with small groups of students to support center work and classroom activities

Supporting students' social-emotional well being

Supervising students at recess and lunch

 Assisting the teacher and the students with the instructional program

 Assisting the teacher to assess student performance

Monitoring student behavior and assisting students to engage in the classroom

Other duties as an assignment by the classroom teacher and school administration
