Job Description

To design and document turbochargers and their components as produced or marketed by ITA.   This includes the creation of original designs at ITA, as well as those received by ITA.

 

Prerequisites:                                                   

A.  Education:  High School Diploma,  Associate in Science Degree                          

B. Experience:  1-2 Years CAD experience preferred, 2D & 3D Required

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1.             Process Engineering Changes and Releases

2.             Work with Sales and Supply Chain to monitor revisions of lots and update the ERP to match 

3.             Update drawings of turbochargers, superchargers and their components using a computer via 2D & 3D CAD.

4.             Redraw IHI originals using U.S. formats and specifications.

5.             Assign part numbers for production and prototype parts; maintain a logs part numbers and assemblies.

6.             Receive and catalog IHI technical materials, drawings, and specifications in conjunction with the IHI liaison engineer.

7.             Assign engineering change request numbers.  Keep and maintain a log of proposed changes.

8.             Generate engineering release notices and change notices.

9.             Apply GD&T and be able to apply.

10.          Complete tolerance stack ups on parts and assemblies.

11.          Create designs using 3D CAD for customer packaging and product design.

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The pay range provided represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications, while maintaining fairness with internal pay structures. We ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws, including those related to minimum pay requirements.  

  • $60,000 - $80,000
