As a Medical Assistant at Quincy Medical Group, you will support providers in our General and Vascular Surgery outpatient clinic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, team-focused environment where coordination, follow-through, and attention to detail are essential.
You will play a key role in keeping patient care on track—from preparing patients for procedures to coordinating next steps and follow-up care. Your ability to stay organized, anticipate needs, and manage multiple moving pieces will directly impact both patient experience and clinic flow.

Primary Responsibilities
Escort patients to examination rooms, obtain vital signs, and document patient histories with accuracy and consistency. Assist providers with minor in-office surgical procedures, including wound care and dressing changes, while maintaining a prepared and efficient environment. Prepare patients for procedures by ensuring all necessary steps, documentation, and supplies are ready ahead of time. Provide clear pre- and post-operative instructions so patients feel informed and confident in their care. Coordinate surgical scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care, ensuring all details are completed and nothing is overlooked. Maintain exam rooms, instruments, and supplies to support a smooth and organized workflow. Serve as a patient coach, guiding individuals through their care plans and helping them feel supported throughout their visit.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
CPR certification required (available upon hire)
Medical Assistant certification preferred
1–2 years of clinical experience as a CNA, PCA, or MA preferred but not required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
Ability to anticipate needs and keep workflows running smoothly
Strong communication skills and comfort supporting patients through surgical care
