    What You'll Do

    • Provide English Language Development instruction for elementary students
    • Support multilingual learners in developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
    • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support language development across content areas
    • Help design and implement instructional supports and scaffolds for students
    • Build strong relationships with students and families
    • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

     

    What We Offer

    Minimum starting salary: $50,000 for educators new to the profession
    (The 2026 - 27 starting salary schedule is pending at this time until board approval.)

    Licensure / Endorsement Requirements

    Preferred candidates will hold one or more of the following Iowa endorsements:

    • K - 6 Elementary Classroom Teacher - 102
    • K - 8 Elementary Education - 103
    • K - 8 Reading - 148
    • K - 12 English Language Learner -104

    Candidates who are eligible for licensure or are currently completing an approved teacher preparation program are encouraged to apply.
