Power Distribution Specialist

Kirby Risk is seeking a Power Distribution Specialist to drive growth across our Power Distribution product lines by supporting sales efforts, developing market strategies, and partnering with teams across the organization.
What You’ll Do as a Power Distribution Specialist
In this role, you’ll operate within the estimating department, making efforts to grow all product groups with a strong focus on Power Distribution sales while supporting both customers and internal teams.
You’ll:
- Drive and support Power Distribution sales within assigned territories
- Meet or exceed sales goals and performance expectations
- Identify, develop, and manage project opportunities within key accounts
- Analyze market conditions and develop strategic sales plans to increase market share
- Execute sales strategies to expand Power Distribution business
- Partner with Account Managers and Project Managers to deliver technical expertise and solutions
- Collaborate with Area Sales Managers to align territory growth strategies
- Support training and development of internal teams to strengthen product knowledge
- Ensure a consistent and professional approach to quotes, bids, and customer interactions
What Makes You a Great Fit
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience in electrical distribution, sales, or a related field
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Solid understanding of business operations and sales processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Collaborative team player with a responsive and professional approach
