Job Summary:

As an Environmental Service Technician, you�ll bring care, consistency, and attention to detail to every task. You�ll maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the center � ensuring that participants, staff, and visitors have a healthy and comfortable environment.

Hourly Wage:

$17.50 /hr. to start - $18.50 after 90 days

 

Schedule: 

First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the center, including public spaces, restrooms, and medical areas.
  • Disinfect and maintain exam rooms, tables, and other surfaces following proper procedures.
  • Understand and follow the company�s Infection Control policies.
  • Handle and mix cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
  • Restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels throughout the day.
  • Store and rotate cleaning products according to company policy.
  • Order and organize cleaning and housekeeping supplies.
  • Lift and move cleaning materials and refuse as required.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as painting or picture hanging.
  • Serve as a contact for outside service companies, contractors, and deliveries.
  • Observe and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Maintenance & Life Safety Compliance Manager.
  • Follow work assignment flow to complete tasks promptly.
  • Maintain infection control and health safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing Quality Initiative training.
  • Build rapport with participants, staff, and visitors through respectful communication.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

    1�3 years� janitorial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

    Experience working with the frail or elderly population is a plus � but not required. We�ll provide hands-on training and mentoring to help you grow!

 

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, TB Screening

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist with safety or emergency procedures when necessary.
  • May encounter environmental challenges � proper protocols must be followed.
