The position exists to process and/or assemble small spring components of various types and sizes. Occasionally, the incumbent will be asked and expected to perform various, miscellaneous, and non-standard duties as required. Such duties are diversified in nature and may be changed from time to time to suit the needs of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follows work order instructions (routers) in order to meet company and customer requirements
- The person operates Force Test and/or Benchmark machines
- The person may Cut/Weld/ Close micro parts
- Microscopically inspects work performed to ensure the product produced meets specifications and may assist in packing products
- Record quantities of product finished using standard company methods
- Maintains established performance levels on a consistent basis
- Completes electronic and paper-based records with speed and accuracy
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
6 months of small-part assembly is preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be capable of achieving performance levels as established
- Ability to effectively use microscopes as an essential component of this position
- Basic math skills
Physical Requirements:
- Employee is occasionally required to stand
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk
- This position is mainly sedentary; Therefore, required to sit
- Occasionally will need to bend, stoop and squat
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Required to reach with hands and arms to handle documents and products
- Must be able to enter data into a computer by use of a key board and mouse and be able to sit for long periods at his/her desk as well as occasionally visit employees throughout the building to gather data and clarify information

- The work environment conditions are typical of a manufacturing environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the basic functions. The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to moderate, however, hearing protection may be required if employee enters high noise areas as a part of their normal job duties.
