PAY RANGE: $24.50 - $29.00 | SHIFT: 1st (Hours: 7am-3:30pm / 8:am-4:30pm)  | TYPE: Onsite

QUICK SUMMARY
The Quality Inspector II plays a critical role in ensuring product quality through in-process and final inspections. This individual brings strong technical expertise, works independently, and supports continuous improvement by mentoring team members and maintaining rigorous quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform in-process and final inspections with minimal supervision
  • Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and customer certification requirements
  • Inspect incoming parts from outside processes for compliance
  • Interpret blueprints and GD&T to validate product conformance
  • Support production teams in adhering to ISO9001/AS9100 processes
  • Mentor and guide less experienced inspectors
  • Participate in audits, compliance initiatives, and quality projects
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation

REQUIREMENTS: (Preferred too)
  • 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with hand tools, CMM, and inspection equipment
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and blueprint reading
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Mie Trak preferred) and SolidWorks
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or defense industries preferred
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and/or ISO13485 standards
  • GD&T certification preferred
