Performs minimally complex social service work. Provides and administers Skills Training by conducting individual and/or group sessions in accordance with the Uniform Assessment (UA) as presented in the Texas Resilience and Recovery (TRR) model. Conducts routine and crisis screenings to determine need for psychiatric in-patient hospitalization. Responsible for authorizing services, oversight of services and evaluating the effectiveness of authorized services. Responsible for assisting participants to continue, resume, or adapt their academic or vocational activities successfully, using IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model and the Zero exclusion criteria. Must help clients pursue permanent competitive jobs and academic opportunities in mainstream, integrated educational settings. Acceptable jobs include seasonal jobs and temporary jobs that are part of the community’s regular labor market. Works under moderate supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Provides skills training to clients authorized for such services. Will maintain a shared caseload of approximately 30 clients.
