Interim CI Execution Manager Europe – UK Focus


Location: United Kingdom (flexible base, frequent travel required)

Reports to: Regional Manufacturing Director Europe


Drive CI excellence across the UK manufacturing network


Refresco operates a highly strategic and complex manufacturing network in the United Kingdom, with several large-scale production sites playing a critical role in our European operations.


To strengthen performance, execution and capability building within the UK, we are looking for an Interim CI Execution Manager Europe. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering Refresco’s global Delta transformation programme, supporting both short-term performance improvements and long-term capability development.


Your role


As CI Execution Manager Europe, you are responsible for the execution of the Manufacturing workstream within the Delta program. You will work closely with approximately 43 plants across Europe, with a strong focus on 17 pull-forward sites, driving performance improvements in cost, productivity and capabilities.


Your key responsibilities include:


CI Framework & Way of Working


•    Deploying, sustaining and continuously improving the CI Framework, RMS and standards
•    Strengthening CI governance, tools and systems
•    Ensuring strong diagnostic capabilities across plants


CI capability & mindset development


•    Developing Lean leadership within Operations
•    Coaching Team Leaders, Green Belts and Yellow Belts
•    Building sustainable CI capabilities and ownership


Performance & value delivery


•    Tracking and validating financial impact, productivity improvements and savings
•    Ensuring alignment of performance data with Finance and Operations
•    Co-creating a realistic and bankable plan together with the plants


Stakeholder management & communication


•    Delivering clear dashboards and high-quality management presentations
•    Translating complex data into actionable insights
•    Acting as a trusted partner to Manufacturing leaders across Europe


Programme & transformation support


•    Supporting sub streams with planning, risk management and delivery
•    Continuously improving transformation tools, templates and reporting
•    Strengthening accountability and delivery excellence

 

What do you bring?


Education & experience


•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics
•    Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering or Continuous Improvement
•    Proven experience in multi-site transformation programmes
•    Solid knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM and/or Agile (Black Belt preferred)
•    Experience in project and programme management (certification is a plus)


Knowledge & skills


•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data and statistical analysis
•    Experience with design thinking and change management
•    Excellent coaching and influencing capabilities
•    Strong senior stakeholder management skills
