Job Summary

The Mobile Food Truck Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations of a Bojangles food truck, ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality food preparation, and efficient team performance. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, hands-on management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mobile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead food truck team members during daily operations


• Ensure all food is prepared and served according to Bojangles brand standards


• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly


• Manage opening and closing procedures, including setup and breakdown


• Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and daily sales reporting


• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the truck at all times


• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage product rotation


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local food service regulations


• Train, coach, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance

Operational & Driving Duties

• Safely operate and transport the food truck to scheduled locations and events


• Plan and coordinate daily routes, schedules, and event logistics


• Conduct routine vehicle and equipment checks to ensure safe operation


• Communicate with management regarding performance, inventory, and staffing needs

Qualifications

• Previous leadery or leadership experience in food service or retail preferred


• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices


• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills


• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment


• Flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, and special events)


• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required)


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
