Physical Therapist Assistant:

 

Clinic Location: 1825 Commerce Street, Suite 1 Yorktown Heights, New York 10598

 

Salary Range: $30 - $36 hourly (commensurate with experience)

 

Job Type: Full-time (Mon-Fri; 40 hours per week. Will discuss schedule during interview.)

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, You’ll Achieve Success By:

 

  • Assisting in evaluating clients’ daily living skills and capacities to determine the extent of abilities and limitations
  • Assisting patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, and activities of daily living
  • Observing patients during treatments and reporting observations to the Physical Therapist
  • Communicating with staff and other healthcare team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for treatment planning and modifications

 

 

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements:

 

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required
  • Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice in Connecticut
  • CPR and first aid certification required
  • Recent graduates and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants are encouraged to apply
