    Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking a Full-Time 4th Grade Dual Language Spanish Teacher at Churchill Elementary


    License Requirements: IL PEL(Professional Educator License) with an Bilingual Spanish endorsement

    The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge and skills:

    • Strong knowledge of elementary teaching methodology, child development, dual language principals
    • Understanding and willingness to differentiate instruction, as needed, for multiple learning styles and ability levels
    • Experience with a wide range of teaching, classroom management, and assessment strategies and the ability to apply these in the elementary classroom setting
    • Willingness and ability to collaborate with classroom teachers on content area instruction and student needs
    • Ability and commitment necessary to develop and continuously improve dual language curriculum for elementary students
    • Ability to communicate student progress to parents and to classroom teachers
